Having two Amish farm deliveries this month accounted for over $500 in groceries and did not help. I also have a husband who still isn't on board 100%. I'll be interested in seeing how next month goes. Wondering if I need to adjust the budget and/or try to be more frugal. I'm not even buying all organic :( mostly because I try to buy on sale whenever possible. I also try to order about $200 per Amish order so I minimize the amount of shipping costs I pay. Sometimes the orders grow out of control, like when my estimated 4 pound chickens ended up averaging over SIX.

Oh well, here we go in month 2!

  1. And the price of food is going to keep going up if the drought in California continues!

  2. Just want to say THANK YOU for your kind words in my blog and write this here as well: (((HUGS))) I think it's wise to know your own limits and then take actions to protect yourself (like hiding people). I hope as time goes by you'll find more peace...and ALL THE BEST in budgeting!!!
